Built from our experience.
As a middle school science teacher, Karla spent hours every week grading stacks of exit tickets. She knew the answers were in those papers. Which students understood the lesson? Who needed extra help? What should she reteach tomorrow? But by the time she finished grading more than 100 responses, there was rarely time left to act on those insights.
At the same time, Tara and Adam grew up watching their parents spend evenings grading papers at the kitchen table. When the three of us met, we realized we’d all seen the same problem from different perspectives. Teachers don’t need more data. They need more time to use it.
That’s why we built Homeroom Hero. Not to replace teachers, but to take grading off their plate so they can focus on teaching. Every assessment is reviewed by the teacher. Every instructional decision stays with the teacher. We simply handle the repetitive work so teachers can spend more time where it matters most: with their students.
